New background maps and new look of the Green Map

In the last weeks we have been busy changing Nature's Green Map and changing the look as well. You can now choose between several kinds of background maps by clicking on the plus (+) on the top right of the map. The choice is between; Google landscape, Google satelite image, Google satelite image and roads, Google roads, Open Street Map, Bing roads, Bing satelite image and Bing satelite image and roads.

Green Map® System is an international effort to help people on the way to a sustainable society. Here you can find green companies, products and services along with natural and cultural sites. Questionable companies and dangerous sites are also listed in special categories.

The Green Map® System consists of the three pillars of sustainability; Sustainable Living (blue), Nature (green) and Culture and Society (orange). You choose a category fitting your search by clicking. Then you see the Green Map Icons. By clicking on the Icons or their titles you'll see all registered members on the map and also listed on the right hand side. Icons can be removed by clicking again. By clicking on each one on the map you access information. By clicking on their names on the map or on the list on the right hand side you access even more theral information.
