The circle is the most perfect shape, without a beginning and without an end, a sign of God and eternity. The ball is both the beginning point and the whole universe in one. The shining ball reflects the surroundings and reminds us of the magnificent universe of which we are a part. The Christmas ball is thus one of the most important Christmas symbols.
