Cards with no contaminants such as metal film or synthetics may be delivered to normal paper recycling, while cards with contaminants are not recyclable. The same applies to gift wrapping paper. While most kinds of Christmas paper may be put in paper containers, it often includes a lot of metal, rendering it non-recyclable. Paper which is mostly red or to a large extent golden should not be put in the paper container. It should go into the general waste. Other kinds of Christmas paper can be put in the blue containers at Drop-off centers in the capital area or delivered to paper containers in recycling centers.
