Nature.is articles: Fair Wear

As a foundation, FWF supports and promotes good labor conditions in garment production and verifies whether companies comply with the Code of Labor Practices, which is based on standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the Declaration of Human Rights. The foundation is originally Dutch but the following are the original founders: Max Havelaar Organisation, Modint, Mitex, FNV, FNV Bondgenoten, Wereld Winkel, Schone Kleren Kampagne and Oxfam Novib.

Certified Organic

The organic certification agency Tún manages the surveillance of organic produce in Iceland. Organic standards require feed and food crops to be grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers or GMO’s.
