AB Agriculture Biologique

AB Agriculture Biologique is a French certificate for organic agriculture and certifies that the product has been produced organically and in accordance with articles 9 and 15 of the EEC Regulation no. 2092/91. 95% of the ingredients of any food product needs to be organic to receive a BIO-certificate.

EarthCheck Certified

EarthCheck (formerlly ‘Green Globe 21’) science and systems today power some of the world’s most comprehensive environmental programs across a wide range of industry sectors. EarthCheck technology is used to underpin brands such as Green Globe where EarthCheck through its wholly owned subsidiary Green Globe Asia Pacific, which has been licensed to use the Green Globe brand since 1999 and currently has exclusive rights to the brand in the Asia Pacific and non exclusive rights in the rest of the world. EarthCheck now operates as an independent company operating its own benchmarking and certification standard which has been built to meet the new reporting and compliance standards demanded of a carbon constrained world.

It provides a means to independently calculate Scopes One, Two and Three emissions and improve operational efficiencies.  Importantly EarthCheck reports are verified by an international network of independent auditors.

PEFC

The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification PEFC is an international non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) through independent third-party certification. PEFC labeled goods include products such as paper, charcoal, wood, wooden furniture, paper cups etc.

Landssamtök astma- og ofnæmissjúklinga á Norðurlöndum veita ofnæmisprófuðum og samþykktum vörum í viðkomandi landi leyfi til að bera merki Astma- og ofnæmissamtakanna til þess að auðvelda astma- og ofnæmissjúklingum að finna vörur sem prófaðar hafa verið á viðurkenndan hátt og ekki eru taldar valda ofnæmi.

Plastic labels

To enable recycling of plastics it is necceasary to label the different kinds of plastics as they vary tremendously but might look the same.

They triangles are seven indicating each kind of plastics (1 – 7) the abreviations are for example Nr. 2, HDPE; High Density PolyEthylene.

1. PETE (Polyetylentereftalat).
2. HDPE- PE-HD (Polyetylen, high density).
3. PVC (Polyvinylklorid).
4. PE-LD (Polyetylen, low density).
5. PP (Polypropylen).
6. PS (Polystyren).
